游戲以現(xiàn)代戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)為背景。俄羅斯從中國(guó)手中奪取了附有大量天然資源與石油的”庫(kù)頁(yè)島”，美國(guó)最后也被逼迫參加戰(zhàn)局，添加了這場(chǎng)”庫(kù)頁(yè)島大戰(zhàn)”!!
與上一代作品最大不同在于”庫(kù)頁(yè)島”是真實(shí)的地方，開(kāi)發(fā)小組針對(duì)庫(kù)頁(yè)島的真實(shí)狀況，包含了道路，建筑，地形等..做了完整的真實(shí)呈現(xiàn)!
