Someone Here Is Missing

The Pineapple Thief（以下簡(jiǎn)稱TPT）來自于英國(guó)的Somerset，成立于1999年。樂隊(duì)創(chuàng)始人Bruce Soord于同年發(fā)行了處子專輯《Abducting the Unicorn》，從而迅速建立起了忠實(shí)的樂迷基礎(chǔ)，而這讓Bruce覺得TPT或許可以堅(jiān)持下去。

　　樂迷的贊揚(yáng)和支持讓Bruce回到了錄音室，繼續(xù)制作第二張專輯《137》。

　　期間，幾大廠牌對(duì)TPT產(chǎn)生了興趣。但這延誤了專輯的發(fā)行，使得他們的第二張專輯在兩年多后才姍姍來遲。然而，或許是第三張專輯《Variations on a Dream》里他們的長(zhǎng)足進(jìn)步，使得TPT的音樂為全世界更多的人所知悉。

　　2002年，Bruce決定成立一個(gè)樂隊(duì)來把自己的音樂帶給歌迷。樂隊(duì)由他音樂上的密友組成：

　　貝斯手Jon Sykes，吉他手Wayne Higgins，鍵盤手Matt O'Leary，鼓手Keith Harrison。Matt后離隊(duì)，Steve Kitch隨后加入，負(fù)責(zé)演奏鍵盤。

　　樂隊(duì)2007年簽約Kscope，隸屬Snapper Music旗下。

　　Wayne Higgins于2008年3月離開了樂隊(duì)，之后The Pineapple Thief作為四人樂隊(duì)仍舊繼續(xù)著音樂之路。
