The Light At The End of The World

My Dying Bride（我垂死的新娘）可能是受眾最多的Doom Metal（厄運金屬）樂隊了，他們的音樂優(yōu)美而哀傷，樂隊中的每一位幾乎都參加多別的死亡樂隊的排練和錄音工作，可見他們的地位和技術(shù)是多么的令人信服，最出名的要算樂隊中的小提琴手Martin Powell了，是他給早期的MDB帶來了凄美的感覺，只有在他的琴聲中，仿佛有一個鮮血濺滿婚紗的新娘，嘴角帶著點點血絲在向你微笑！樂隊自從1990年建立,直至今天,一直在探討Doom Metal新的表達(dá)方式，如果說大多數(shù)的Doom樂隊活在Black Sabbath（黑色安息曰）的陰影中，那么MDB要算前衛(wèi)厄運金屬的范疇了。
再次的長時間沉默后，又有新的成員加入：鼓手Shoun Steels和吉他手Hamish Glencross（Shoun參加過著名的Solstice和Anathema），另外還有臨時鍵盤手Johnny Maudlin，1999年9月，他們推出了這張專輯，風(fēng)格回歸到了Turn Loose The Swans和The Angel And The Dark River之間的風(fēng)格。但是否還能重振昔曰雄風(fēng)，我們只能拭目以待了。
