二戰(zhàn)結(jié)束后，思鄉(xiāng)心切的大批美軍士兵踏上舊金山港即投進(jìn)久候的親人的懷抱，但保羅•薩頓（基努•里維斯）久等仍不見其妻子的蹤影，夕陽西沉?xí)r，他拖著孤單落寞的身軀走回家中，發(fā)現(xiàn)妻子早已改變，她的眼里只剩金錢不再有他。
