來自加州的全方位創(chuàng)作白人歌手Robin，自小在娛樂圈環(huán)境下長大，母親是著名歌手/演員Gloria Loring，父親則是著名電視演員Alan Thicke。跟隨父母腳步的Robin在12-3歲期間客串演出戲劇節(jié)目，但總覺得這不是他想追求的未來；接著轉(zhuǎn)戰(zhàn)音樂領(lǐng)域，以16歲年紀(jì)簽入附屬 Interscope旗下之Nu America Records廠牌，優(yōu)異的創(chuàng)作才華廣及多方領(lǐng)域，樂壇數(shù)一數(shù)二暢銷歌手如：亞瑟小子、克莉絲汀、馬克安東尼、白蘭蒂、美雅、布萊恩麥肯奈特、羅南…等人，都唱過他的歌。2002年個(gè)人專輯《Cherry Blue Skies》，首支取樣Walter Murphy 1976年全美流行榜冠軍曲＜A Fifth Of Beethoven＞，改編貝多芬第五號(hào)命運(yùn)交響曲，頓時(shí)吸引全球樂迷注意，登上澳洲Top17+比利時(shí)Top15+義大利Top15+紐西蘭Top8+ 荷蘭Top5位置，翌年更改專輯名稱《A Beautiful World》并加收歌曲重新問世，於全美賣出近六萬張銷售成績。
