Highland Cathedral

蘇格蘭皇家龍衛(wèi)隊(duì)風(fēng)笛鼓樂(lè)隊(duì)最早源于一支小小的風(fēng)笛樂(lè)隊(duì), 1946年由蘇格蘭陸軍某裝甲部隊(duì)復(fù)員軍人組成并來(lái)到蘇格蘭灰騎兵部隊(duì)。 樂(lè)手們是灰騎兵部隊(duì)第一批正規(guī)的風(fēng)笛手，在此之前，灰騎兵部隊(duì)只有一些小規(guī)模非官方的樂(lè)隊(duì)，那還是19世紀(jì)20年代，曾有一支駐扎在印度能騎馬演奏的樂(lè)隊(duì)。

國(guó)王喬治六世對(duì)這支風(fēng)笛鼓樂(lè)隊(duì)的到來(lái)非常感興趣， 給予他們身著皇家斯圖亞特格子呢的特權(quán), 并親自設(shè)計(jì)樂(lè)隊(duì)的制服，就是您現(xiàn)在看到的這張大鼓鼓手身著醒目的插著紅羽毛的白色熊皮的照片。

關(guān)于白熊皮，則是源于1894年，俄國(guó)沙皇尼古拉二世被授為蘇格蘭皇家灰騎兵名譽(yù)團(tuán)長(zhǎng)，為此他向灰騎兵部隊(duì)贈(zèng)送了白熊皮。

現(xiàn)在，蘇格蘭皇家龍衛(wèi)隊(duì)風(fēng)笛鼓樂(lè)隊(duì)的風(fēng)笛手和鼓手身兼坦克兵和音樂(lè)家二職，為國(guó)效力。
