電視電臺(TV On The Radio)  這個布魯克林區(qū)的樂團融合了后龐克和電子的骨乾，加入了很多高暴性的元素，大辣辣談?wù)撝鐣?、政治等嚴肅的議題。核心人物主唱Tunde Adebimpe和樂手兼製作人David Andrew Siteck都是學(xué)習(xí)和從事影像工作的藝術(shù)家，在布魯克林的公寓因為前后任房客的關(guān)係認識之后，原本都是單獨創(chuàng)作的臥室音樂家，了解彼此后深覺必須依賴彼此才能創(chuàng)造他們心目中理想的音樂。2001年樂團組成后，豐富的創(chuàng)作力和爆發(fā)力便讓他們忙... 全部內(nèi)容» 這個布魯克林區(qū)的樂團融合了后龐克和電子的骨乾，加入了很多高暴性的元素，大辣辣談?wù)撝鐣⒄蔚葒烂C的議題。核心人物主唱Tunde Adebimpe和樂手兼製作人David Andrew Siteck都是學(xué)習(xí)和從事影像工作的藝術(shù)家，在布魯克林的公寓因為前后任房客的關(guān)係認識之后，原本都是單獨創(chuàng)作的臥室音樂家，了解彼此后深覺必須依賴彼此才能創(chuàng)造他們心目中理想的音樂。2001年樂團組成后，豐富的創(chuàng)作力和爆發(fā)力便讓他們忙得不可開交，首先發(fā)行自製的專輯，隨后單曲”Young Liars”的成功，2003年幫The Fall演唱會開場，2004年發(fā)行首張完整專輯”Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes”之后，包括參與The Pixies和The Faint的暖場都不能消耗他們無窮的精力，除了大受好評的單曲”New Health Rock”發(fā)行之外，2005年更在網(wǎng)路上發(fā)表了對布希大批特批的Mp3單曲“Dry Drunk Emperor。  樂隊的第五張專輯《Nine Types of Light》于2011年4月12日發(fā)行。  Nine Types of Light is the upcoming fourth studio album by American band TV on the Radio. It is set to be released on April 12, 2011. The band released "Will Do", a song from the album, on February 23, 2011. Another song, "Caffeinated Consciousness", was made available for free download on March 10, 2011.
