Dont Let It Go To Waste

原英國流行朋克樂隊(duì)busted的主唱Matt Willis診所戒酒后發(fā)行了他的第一張個(gè)人專輯。

馬泰 詹姆士 威利斯（也被稱為馬特 杰伊）出生于1983年5月8日，他與查理辛普森還有詹姆士 伯尼是英國流行樂隊(duì)Busted的最老成員。在樂隊(duì)中馬特曾經(jīng)與別人合作了What I Go To School For 以及Sleeping With The Light On 等多部曲子。馬泰出生于托町，倫敦，幾年之后他搬去了京世頓，薩利。在樂隊(duì)中他是主唱同時(shí)演奏貝斯吉他，同時(shí)他也可以演奏架子鼓及其電吉他。

最近他公開討論了他們樂隊(duì)在解散之前的所謂“糾紛”，顯然他們的糾紛被報(bào)道夸張了很多。有報(bào)道說自從樂隊(duì)解散之后，他具有了嚴(yán)重的酒精依賴，并產(chǎn)期受到酒精的折磨。

隨后他聲明，他的問題并沒有像他想象的那么嚴(yán)重。為了解決酒精依賴的問題，他進(jìn)入了一個(gè)小修道院。兩個(gè)星期之后，當(dāng)他女朋友MTV電視臺(tái)主持人艾瑪接他的時(shí)候，他表示喝酒其實(shí)是一件很“無聊”的事情。

馬特已經(jīng)決定它將會(huì)獨(dú)自演出。最近他已經(jīng)回到錄音室并且寫下了一些單曲，他把這些曲目歸類于流行或者朋克。
馬特最喜歡的樂隊(duì)有blink-182, Van Halen, Madness, Green Day, Foo Fighters, The Clash and The Sex Pistols.

馬特的第一個(gè)單人演出于2006年3月20日在北翁布里亞大學(xué)舉行，這個(gè)演出是為了MTV電視臺(tái)的新音樂周節(jié)目而準(zhǔn)備的。

2006年的11月，馬特將參加ITV電視臺(tái)的“I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!”節(jié)目。
