Puya

by Drago Bonacich Puerto Rican rock foursome Puya was formed in the early 90s. After playing covers at San Juans club circuit, the band moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL, looking for a record deal. That opportunity came after meeting Latin rock producer Gustavo Santaolalla, soon, signing up to MCA. In October of 1998, Puyas first record was released, followed by Fundamental in January of 1999. Performing an interesting mixture of rock and Latin rhythms, Puya became a top-selling act in the rock en español scene. In 2001, its second album, called Unión, was released. 更多>>
