身兼歌手、創(chuàng)作者、制作人、演員…等多重身份的Marques Houston/馬可士休斯頓已經(jīng)具有超過十三年的豐富娛樂圈資歷！’92年，他所屬的洛杉磯R&B美聲三人組Immature以“Tear It Up”一曲嶄露頭角；’94年Immature發(fā)行首張專輯，再以全美流行/節(jié)奏藍調榜雙料Top 5金唱片單曲“Never Lie”、以及同樣賣破金唱片的“Constantly”打響名號，成功在樂壇站穩(wěn)一席之地，并陸續(xù)發(fā)行多張專輯，Immature后來隨著年齡的增長而更名為IMX。 熱愛演唱，執(zhí)著於詞曲創(chuàng)作的Marques Houston，自認在音樂上深受流行樂之王Michael Jackson以及節(jié)奏藍調美聲經(jīng)典團體Boyz II Men的影響；他與Immature團員等同好組成的制作組合Platinum Status曾參與當紅R&B/Hip-Hop女聲團Destiny’s Child ’99年轟動大碟「The Writing’s On The Wall」的幕后制作。單飛發(fā)展后的Marques Houston成績更加耀眼，除了參與賣座電影「You Got Served」、「Fat Albert」的拍攝，擔綱主角演出的UPN電視臺影集「CUTS」目前高居全美Urban電視秀第一名；2003年發(fā)行的個人專輯『MH』亦拿下Billboard節(jié)奏藍調專輯榜No.5，2005年發(fā)行的個人專輯『Naked』空降全美節(jié)奏藍調專輯榜Top 5。 其膾炙人口的代表歌曲有 circle 、 pop that booty 等等 拍攝的電影有街舞類《 熱力四射》 《somebody help me》 等等。 by Andy Kellman A member of Immature/IMx, Marques "Batman" Houston debuted as a solo artist in 2003 with MH (Interscope). Since joining Immature as a young adolescent in the early '90s, Houston has crossed over into television as a recurring cast member of Sister Sister, and he has taken on production duties with some of his IMx mates (as Platinum Status) for B2K and Destiny's Child. Along with producing some of his own material on MH, he enlisted the services of Kowan "Q" Paul, Kenny Whitehead, and Platinum Status member Troy Taylor. Naked followed in April of 2005. During the interim, he appeared in Fat Albert, continued songwriting and production work (Omarion, N2U, O'Ryan, Young Rome), and popped up on a mix of 50 Cent's "Candy Shop." Veteran, released in 2007, marked Houston's 15th year in the music business.
