身兼歌手、創(chuàng)作者、制作人、演員…等多重身份的Marques Houston/馬可士休斯頓已經(jīng)具有超過(guò)十三年的豐富娛樂(lè)圈資歷！’92年，他所屬的洛杉磯R&B美聲三人組Immature以“Tear It Up”一曲嶄露頭角；’94年Immature發(fā)行首張專(zhuān)輯，再以全美流行/節(jié)奏藍(lán)調(diào)榜雙料Top 5金唱片單曲“Never Lie”、以及同樣賣(mài)破金唱片的“Constantly”打響名號(hào)，成功在樂(lè)壇站穩(wěn)一席之地，并陸續(xù)發(fā)行多張專(zhuān)輯，Immature后來(lái)隨著年齡的增長(zhǎng)而更名為IMX。 熱愛(ài)演唱，執(zhí)著於詞曲創(chuàng)作的Marques Houston，自認(rèn)在音樂(lè)上深受流行樂(lè)之王Michael Jackson以及節(jié)奏藍(lán)調(diào)美聲經(jīng)典團(tuán)體Boyz II Men的影響；他與Immature團(tuán)員等同好組成的制作組合Platinum Status曾參與當(dāng)紅R&B/Hip-Hop女聲團(tuán)Destiny’s Child ’99年轟動(dòng)大碟「The Writing’s On The Wall」的幕后制作。單飛發(fā)展后的Marques Houston成績(jī)更加耀眼，除了參與賣(mài)座電影「You Got Served」、「Fat Albert」的拍攝，擔(dān)綱主角演出的UPN電視臺(tái)影集「CUTS」目前高居全美Urban電視秀第一名；2003年發(fā)行的個(gè)人專(zhuān)輯『MH』亦拿下Billboard節(jié)奏藍(lán)調(diào)專(zhuān)輯榜No.5，2005年發(fā)行的個(gè)人專(zhuān)輯『Naked』空降全美節(jié)奏藍(lán)調(diào)專(zhuān)輯榜Top 5。 其膾炙人口的代表歌曲有 circle 、 pop that booty 等等 拍攝的電影有街舞類(lèi)《 熱力四射》 《somebody help me》 等等。 by Andy Kellman A member of Immature/IMx, Marques "Batman" Houston debuted as a solo artist in 2003 with MH (Interscope). Since joining Immature as a young adolescent in the early '90s, Houston has crossed over into television as a recurring cast member of Sister Sister, and he has taken on production duties with some of his IMx mates (as Platinum Status) for B2K and Destiny's Child. Along with producing some of his own material on MH, he enlisted the services of Kowan "Q" Paul, Kenny Whitehead, and Platinum Status member Troy Taylor. Naked followed in April of 2005. During the interim, he appeared in Fat Albert, continued songwriting and production work (Omarion, N2U, O'Ryan, Young Rome), and popped up on a mix of 50 Cent's "Candy Shop."
